Get messy & learn how to make Baker Bleu's delicious (& infamous) sour cherry and dark chocolate Easter buns from scratch under the tutelage of Founder & Baker Mike Russell.
The live-streamed class will be hosted from the Caulfield North bakery on Sunday the 28th of March with help from friend Shane Delia. It will be broken into three stages with two pre-recorded videos teaching you how to prep and prove dough. Then the live class will take place on Instagram (@providoor) and will show you the ropes on forming, glazing and scoring the buns, plus how to make a sourdough starter to use in future.
Your class kit will be delivered with everything you need to bake and enjoy two dozen Baker Bleu sour cherry & dark chocolate Easter buns including 1kg of Tuerong Farm Winter white flour, Hunted + Gathered Dominican Republic chocolate, organic sour cherries, St David’s Cultured Butter and the tools (dough scraper and the perfect pan) you need to bake like Mike.
You’ll bake one batch with Mike and Shane and one batch in your own time after mastering the skills. As an added bonus, Mike will also share his famous focaccia recipe during the live class.
